The Coast-to-Coast Throwdown takes HealthCorps' four-state on-the-ground footprint and turns it into a friendly, public, gamified Reality Health Games™ competition. Every wellness activity a HealthCorps Group Leader logs — a Bingo card session, a community walk, a garden project, a Spring into Health listening session — earns points for their state, which roll up into their regional team total.
At kickoff Fall 2026, the live leaderboard goes public. Team West (AZ + CA) and Team East (OH + PA) trade rankings week by week. Teens see their state climb. Mentors see their region. Donors and funders see HealthCorps' impact narrated as a national story — not a stack of disconnected program reports.
Each state needs Group Leaders signed up before kickoff. The more Group Leaders a state stands up, the bigger its weekly point ceiling — and the louder its voice in the regional total.
